When the wharf at the Port of Koper in Slovenia was expanded in 2006, part of the original concrete surface was left untreated, part was coated with a sealer and part with Radcon  #7® . By 2014 it was found that the Radcon treated areas were still completely undamaged whilst the other areas had deteriorated badly.

In 2014 the Port of Koper asked the Building Institute of Slovenia to investigate the deterioration of the concrete and decided that due to Radcon’s success on the previous areas they needed to apply Radcon to the untreated areas in order to protect them.

Another factor influencing the Port of Koper was the fact that Radcon hardens concrete from 6 to 8 on Moh’s scale, making it the same hardness as granite. This is especially useful in a port, where heavy machinery is always driving on the concrete and containers are being unloaded and dropped onto the surface.

Because Radcon is so fast to apply, the Applicator was able to treat the entire 6,000m2 in ONE DAY, thus solving the problem QUICKLY and PERMANENTLY.
